Navigate your way along miles of ancient trails hidden in the depths of 40,000 acres of forest & moorland.
Armed with a detailed road book, route map & 2 way radio its your mission to complete the 25 miles of terrain.
Drive one of our powerful NISSAN patrol 4x4 vehicles along trails with deep ruts, water pools, rocks & cambers.
Help is never far away as each vehicle is fitted with 2 way radio communication & all groups are joined by a highly experienced instructor.
Want to use your own 4x4? - No problem, you can either tag on with an existing group OR go it alone - route maps included & 2 way radios are available for hire (just in case you need a little help!).
Various recovery techniques may be called upon including strop, kinetic & winch - tow points essential.

| Notice to drivers planning to use their OWN 4x4 vehicle for this route: |
- Due to the terrain included on this route ONLY true 4x4s - NO soft roaders please (Freelander, CRVs,Sportracks or similar).
- Some sections may cause 'light' vehicle damage such as scratches, lost mud flaps & damaged tow bar electric plugs - you need to accept the possability of minor damage.
- Instructors will be able to give you an alternative route 'around' the more severe sections should you wish to 'aviod' the more demanding terrain.
- Please ensure your vehicle is fitted with good recovery points front & rear.
- Please ensure ALL wheel security nuts are REMOVED & only standard wheel nuts fitted - a wheel change in deep mud is much easier when you can remove ALL the nuts!!

- £35 in your OWN 4x4 vehicle.
- £5 2-way radio hire.
- £25 per hour for one on one tuition (includes strop, kinetic & winch recovery techniques) - applies to both HIRE & OWN vehicle usage.
